ROYAL QUINOA
Royal Quinoa is the largest, most nutritious quinoa grain in the world. It is grown exclusively in the Bolivian Andes, around the “Salar de Uyuni”. It is only in these salt flats–where the soil conditions are just right–that Royal Quinoa can grow to produce a grain so large and delicious. In these saline soils with an altitude of 13,000 feet, Royal Quinoa grains resist drought and frost to provide unrivaled goodness. Royal Quinoa grains are three times larger than regular quinoa grains and are packed with flavor.
The native people of the Andes began cultivating Quinoa around three thousand years ago. Today, the quinoa farmers follow traditional methods of farming which are 100% organic, sustainable, and free of genetic manipulation. Because of the unique climate, no other commercial crop could sustain life and there is no risk of cross contamination from other non-gluten-free products.
